Getting started as a surveyor
Being invited to a property
The buyer, their solicitor, or the seller's agent will invite you to the property. Accept the invitation and the property will appear in your Professional dashboard.
Pre-survey data access
Before visiting the property, you can access:
- EPC certificate and rating
- Flood risk data
- Planning history
- Age of construction and property type
- Previous survey reports (if shared by the owner)
Uploading your report
After completing your survey:
1. Open the property in your dashboard.
2. Go to Documents → Add document.
3. Select Survey Report as the category.
4. Upload your PDF report.
The buyer is notified automatically when the report is uploaded.
Data provenance
All data in the passport includes a provenance indicator showing the source and the date it was last verified.
