Property Passports

What is a Property Passport?

Understanding the Property Passport concept and what it includes.

What is a Property Passport?

A Property Passport is a permanent digital record for a specific property. It persists across ownership changes, meaning every new owner inherits the history built by previous owners.

The Passport contains

  • Overview — address, UPRN, property type, tenure
  • Ownership — verified ownership history
  • Documents — legal and compliance documents
  • Media — photographs, floorplans, tours
  • Data — EPC, flood risk, planning, broadband
  • History — a chronological log of all changes

The Completion Score

The Completion Score (shown as a percentage) reflects how complete and up-to-date the passport is. A higher score indicates a more transparent and transaction-ready property.

Sharing

You can share a passport — or specific sections of it — with buyers, tenants, agents, or conveyancers. Each share can be set to Viewer (read-only) or Editor (can contribute documents).
